Course Description
TOEFL iBT Preparation Course is designed to help EFL learners develop skills and strategies necessary for successful performance on the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT). This course focuses on building skills and strategy for students to pass the TOEFL exam and progress to a four-year or other post-secondary institution. Students in this class will receive strategy and skills that have been proven successful in achieving the high scores necessary for admission to university-level programs.

Methodology
This TOEFL preparation course consists of 5 weeks, one week for each skill and the last week for sample tests and best practices and techniques to answer it.
Course Outline
Reading Skill (Week 1):
The first week, learners will be trained on how to read passages and answer the the questions and test their ability to understand vocabulary, sentence structure and factual information, as well as implied information and the writer’s intention. In this section, learners will learn how to read fast and take good notes.
Listening Skill (Week 2):
The second week, students will be introduced to a variety of conversations and lectures to help them get familiar with different kinds of topics and accents. They will also get to learn about the style of questions on the TOEFL – iBT which are designed to assess their understanding of the main ideas, factual information and inference.
Speaking Skill (Week 3):
The third week, students will work on the ability to speak coherently both on their opinions and experiences as well as on information they have read or heard. The speaking skill time will enhance their ideas organization, their vocabulary and the grammar they use to be accurate enough to be easily understood.
Writing Skill (Week 4):
The fourth week, learners will practice how to write paragraphs and how to organize and support their ideas in an essay format. The first task, students will be required to summarize the information in the passage. The second one requires learners to generate an essay based on their own experience. Test takers will be trained on how to type their responses.
Strategies Mastering and Implementation (Week 5)
The last week will be implementing the four skills through working daily on mini/long timed tests and assignments to achieve your TOEFL – iBT Exam pass.
